Ahmed Maawy is the Director at SiftDeck (A product that does Social Risk Analytics for Business. SiftDeck aims to connect online conversations with offline assets and people, to help organizations predict potential threats to their interests). Technology expert working with D8A and Appfrica labs, and a Technology Lead at Abayima. Ahmed is also one of the pioneers in the groundbreaking institution that aims to create a world without boundaries, The Amani Institute's Post Graduate certificate in Social Innovation Management.

Ahmed Maawy has spent more than 10 years developing web, mobile, and enterprise software as well as being a project manager for a number of software products and projects. He has worked with corporations and non profits alike, as well as media agencies such as Al Jazeera New Media (on 3 important curation projects covering Somalia, Libya and Gaza) as well as Internews Europe. He has also worked for Ushahidi as a Software Engineer for SwiftRiver, Datadyne as Product Manager for EpiSurveyor (now MagPi), and with Kenya Airways for their Online Marketing strategy, Bookings and Reservations engines, and overall web strategy, to name a few.

Said Fuad is a brilliant developer, focusing on Mobile Applications as well as Website Development. Having worked with Companies such as Techbiz Limited and Jafftek Computer Solutions, he has been able to gain a lot of experience in the Information Technology Industry, both in the Hardware and Software fields.

He is an undergraduate pursuing Business Information Technology at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Mombasa.He is deeply interested in technology and how technology can be used to help the society and the entire world at large.

Alifiyah Ganijee is an influential developer undertaking a Degree in Business Information Technology at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Mombasa. She develops for both web and mobile applications. She has worked with companies such as Techbiz Limited and Jafftek Computer Solutions which have served her a stepping stone into the IT Industry.

She loves everything to do with Information Technology and her passion and goal is getting more people into this industry by either training or mentoring them. She believes that with technology, only the sky is the limit!

Joan Nabusoba is a student at the Technical University of Mombasa. She grew up in Kitale and after her secondary education, she worked as an untrained teacher at Jolyland Academy, Kitale.

She is proficient in Website Design, Development & Support, Design, and Development on Java, C, C++ and Visual Basic. Her greatest interest revolve in interactive design, UX, teaching, software engineering and extreme programming. Her wish is to combine her knowledge and experience in these areas, to deliver the best creative to great audiences.

In sports, she is a great player of taekwondo game and zumba for physical fitness

Murad Swaleh. Having studied at Kampala International University, Murad holds a Degree in Computer Science. As a passionate Website Developer, He has a vast experience in tours / safaris websites, bus company websites, consultancy and real estate / property websites. His specialities include Web Design, Logo Design, Graphic Design, SEO, Networking & Content Managment Systems (joomla! & Drupal)

He has worked as a Systems Administrator at Kampala Coach Limited before joining Jafftek Computer Solutions and is also the co-founder of Crab Links Limited, a web development company in Mombasa.He believes building someone's career is giving out a gift of life that no one can take away from.When he is not designing websites, you will find Murad playing with his two lovely kids or watching a movie with his lovely wife.

Aisha Mohdhar. As a business intelligence expert Aisha analyses organisations to not only adapt but thrive through the ubiquitous technical landscape. Her start-up career in software developing and later High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster took her to champion development in the competitive hard selling Asian peninsula.

Combining her expertise in research & publication and e-commerce, Aisha produces and presents radio shows on technical innovations, trains, lectures for universities, private corporations, government and national government organizations (NGOs) on start-ups and adaptation of computing.If she knows it best she delivers it better!
